No. The intercom only unlocks the pedestrian gate: the visitor pushes it open and a correctly adjusted closer pulls it shut. If the gate has to open by itself, you need a separate drive and a safety solution.

Depending on the system, the indoor monitor also works without internet, but the mobile app and remote access usually need a working internet or mobile data connection.
It depends on the lock and power setup. We agree in advance whether the lock should stay locked or open during a power cut, and can add backup power or keep a mechanical way in.
We select outdoor-rated panels and locking hardware and protect the connections during installation. Reliability also depends on the correct cable, power supply, gate mechanics and periodic checks.
Depending on the model, the system can save event snapshots or clips to a memory card, recorder or supported cloud service. Continuous recording needs a compatible camera, storage and configuration and is not standard on every intercom. We do not configure continuous audio recording as part of video surveillance.
If the panel supports motion or other event detection and recording is configured, the system may create an alert, snapshot or clip without a call. We set the detection area and sensitivity on site to reduce unwanted alerts.
The camera should be aimed mainly at your own entrance and property and must not record a neighbour's property. If a public or shared area is included, the system owner is responsible for a lawful basis, notice, privacy information and proportionate retention. We help narrow the field of view during setup.
